About the team

The Laboratory for Materials Research and Chemical Analysis (LMC) and the Laboratory for Microbiology (LMB) support KWR researchers and the water sector in applied scientific research into the control and utilization of chemical and microbiological processes in water extraction, treatment, and distribution. This also includes the chemical and microbiological safety of the water cycle. To this end, analyses are carried out using advanced techniques in various matrices, including drinking water, surface water, groundwater, and wastewater.

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be part of the KWR laboratories. Twenty-five people work here, divided into two specialisms: chemistry and microbiology. The analysts work in state-of-the-art laboratories and have a variety of backgrounds and experience. In the position of Laboratory Assistant, a position within the LMC team, you will support your colleagues in the chemical and microbiological laboratories and also be the point of contact for colleagues from other teams who use laboratory supplies and services.
