Lotte Vijverberg is a researcher in the Energy and Circular Systems team at KWR. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where she specialized in electrochemical processes. For her graduation research, she analyzed degradation mechanisms of nickel electrodes in hydrogen electrolyzers. In addition to her academic background, she gained practical experience at Forze Hydrogen Racing, where she worked on controlling a hydrogen fuel cell in a race car. Her work included writing high-level software, creating models, and performing tests. At KWR, Lotte works on research projects at the intersection of the water sector and the energy transition, such as the flexible control of drinking water assets.
