Nienke Meekel is a researcher in the Chemical Water Quality and Health team. In July 2020, she completed the Analytical Sciences track of the Master Chemistry at both the University of Amsterdam and the Free University Amsterdam. She followed the TI-COAST MSc+ program and did her internship at KWR. Nienke did use the programming language R a lot. She studies the intelligent data acquisition of potentially toxic compounds in the non-target screening analyses. This research spans multiple disciplines: analytical chemistry, toxicology and cheminformatics. Based on this experience and together with her interdisciplinary background, she will continue her work at KWR on several projects.
