KWR on Aquatech & AIWW

Event details

The Amsterdam International Water Week (AIWW) and the Aquatech take place from 4 through to 8 November. During that week, under the main theme of ‘Implementation of Integrated Solutions by Cities, Industries, Utilities and Financiers’, the focus will be on the energy transition and resource recovery, integrated water and resource management, ICT & Data, and Blue-Green solutions for resilient cities. KWR will be present at both the AIWW and the Aquatech.

This year KWR will have its our own booth on the Aquatech exhibition floor, to draw attention to our research in the field of water availability for industry: ‘Improving Water Availability’. This encompasses both water quantity and quality: How can companies ensure the availability of the right quantity of water, of the right quality and at the right time? This raises five central questions for us:

  • Can we produce clean water from wastewater?
  • Can we close the water cycle safely?
  • What resources can we extract from wastewater?
  • How can we use data smartly?
  • How can we handle emerging contaminants?

Programme

Drawing on examples from water practice, KWR researchers will demonstrate how they approach their work and with what results. The booth also has space for good discussions over a cup of coffee; and don’t forget to take part in our quiz! In addition, there will be presentations every day by KWR colleagues and our collaboration partners: in and around the booth, for example, in the Industrial User Experience, and during the AIWW conference. See the full program below.
