The ImpactAlliantie Nederland is coming to KWR on June 27th

Evenement details

The ImpactAlliantie (IA) is a network of nearly 400 experts from research, policy and practice with impact-related responsibilities across different sectors and organizations in the Netherlands. The IA is dedicated to improving the development, application, and sharing of knowledge on organizing and evaluating the societal impact of scientific research.

On June 27th, experts from the IA will join us at KWR for an interactive event. The program includes panel discussions and parallel sessions where participants will exchange and brainstorm on strategies for co-creating and applying knowledge in research. This includes skills, expertise, tools and methods for effective stakeholder engagement.

Collaborative Research Challenges

As KWR and the water utilities expand their research collaborations within the water cycle and beyond, they face new challenges in organizing impactful collaborative research. To address these challenges, the Innovation and Valorisation team believes in the value of sharing knowledge, experiences and strategies with experts from various sectors and organizations facing similar issues. Consequently, we joined the ImpactAlliantie (IA) and are excited to bring this community to KWR.

Hear the stakeholder perspective on collaborative research

A panel discussion featuring water sector experts Karin Lekkerkerker (Dunea), Rob Ververs (Waternet), and Michelle Talsma (STOWA) who will reflect and exchange with the audience on stakeholder engagement needs, expectations and challenges.

Shape the conversation

We invite KWR researchers and their research partners to join this event. It is especially valuable for portfolio managers, BTO theme group coordinators, program and project managers, early career professionals, and water utility professionals from other organizations engaged in research projects with KWR. Join or lead an interactive group session on topics of your interest regarding stakeholder engagement for research impact. Share ideas, ask questions, and gain insights from a diverse group of experts.

By participating you will learn how to effectively coordinate stakeholder engagement, discover strategies to integrate stakeholder needs into research, gain practical tools to manage stakeholder contributions in research projects, strengthen expertise in stakeholder engagement and collaboration and expand your network on research impact.

If you are interested to join this event and/or to propose an idea for a session, register here by June 17th – we have limited space!
