Noor van Dooren is a researcher on Public Design in the Resilience Management and Governance team. She earned her master’s degree in Transnational Ecosystem-based Water Management, a double-degree programme at Radboud University and Universität Duisburg-Essen, in early 2023. Her research focuses on the social environment of water, perceptions and water in the circular economy. Noor helps actors understand how to better manage planned changes in the social context of water and how to shape their role in it. She studies role interpretation and the allocation of responsibilities in local case studies with circular applications. Using the City Blueprint method, she maps out urban water management and governance. Noor’s research also focuses on the perceptions (relating to risks, among other things) of different groups such as drinking water customers with respect to concepts in the context of water, such as the Exposome.
