Teun van Dooren MSc

Teun van Dooren is a researcher in the Geohydrology team. During his studies in Earth Sciences at Utrecht University, he acquired broad knowledge about water systems and the subsurface. Teun later became more specialised in geohydrology and wrote his Master’s thesis at KWR on subsurface water storage (aquifer storage and recovery) in brackish coastal zones, using innovative well configurations. This primarily involved building experience in laboratory experiments and computer models. Teun currently works on projects related to subsurface water storage, including Subsol, COASTAR and the Urban Waterbuffer.
