Watershare Annual Meeting: spotlight on Communities of Practice and Swedish water sector

From 10-11 November, Watershare members met in Stockholm for their 2016 annual meeting to discuss the community’s progress and planning. The meeting was kindly hosted by Watershare member Svenskt Vatten, the Swedish Water and Wastewater Association (SWWA).

At the meeting Watershare welcomed three new members, namely: Victoria (Mexico), the Japan Water Research Centre and the University of Southern Queensland (Australia). Watershare now counts 18 members from all over the globe.

Daniel Hellström from SWWA: “It certainly is a challenge to implement results from research and innovation projects. Watershare can definitely contribute to do this. From the presentations and discussions during the annual meeting, it can be concluded that we have a very good work in progress. So far, I think Watershare is very promising.”
