Examples include research on sustainable freshwater supply for greenhouse horticulture, alternative sources of drinking water and restoration of fens. Sija has experience in the conduct of hydrological system analyses, research and modelling of (un)saturated water flows and substance transport, (eco)hydrological fieldwork, experiment design, soil physics and ecological experimental work, and data analysis and statistics.
