Marjolein van Huijgevoort

Marjolein van Huijgevoort is a hydrologist in the Ecohydrology team. She completed her doctoral research in 2014 at the Wageningen University and Research Centre, in the area of hydrological drought. She then worked as a post-doc for a couple of years at universities in Scotland and the US, here she expanded her international knowledge in the field of hydrology. Over recent years, Marjolein has worked on projects focused on hydrological drought, the human impact on hydrology and interactions between vegetation and hydrology, for example. She has experience with hydrological modelling, model development and (eco)hydrological fieldwork. The projects in which Marjolein applied this model knowledge varied from conceptual models for small river basins to large-scale climate models. At KWR, she uses this knowledge and experience in a wide range of projects.
