Camiel Aggenbach is an ecologist with 26 years of experience in restoration and management of wetland ecosystems. Over this period he has gained experience in scientific research and advising in a width range of wet ecosystems in Northwestern Europe, including hydrogeochemistry, vegetation, soil succession, and hydro-ecology. His research work is carried out in several research programs, and for a wide range of nature management organizations and governmental bodies. At the moment he is working on a PhD on the restoration and sustainability of basiophilious, groundwater depended ecosystems. Camiel is member of a the expert team of a research program of the Ministry of Economy involved in programming research for restoration ecology.
