Horizon 2020 Subsol project launches its official website Subsol.org

Following the kick-off of the European project Subsol at KWR in Nieuwegein in October 2015, the consortium has now launched its official website: subsol.org. Via this website, we will inform our public on the progress of the project via news articles, backgrounds, and the results of the project. Good news: the website also reads perfect on mobile devices.

Over the past ten years, KWR and partners have developed novel concepts to improve groundwater management and thereby significantly strengthen freshwater supply in coastal areas. The Horizon 2020 SUBSOL project opens the possibility of introducing these Subsurface Water Technologies internationally. SUBSOL foresees the continuation of ongoing demonstration projects in Friesland, Westland and South-Beveland in the Netherlands, as well as new field pilots in Denmark, Greece and the US (Florida). Market surveys will be conducted in selected coastal regions worldwide. Apart from KWR, the project includes the participation of Dutch partners Vitens, ARCADIS and B-E de Lier, besides eleven technology SMEs, consultants, knowledge providers and end-users from across Europe.
