AquaMinerals, KWR and Wateropleidingen extend alliance

In Nieuwegein, AquaMinerals, KWR Water Research Institute and Wateropleidingen have signed an extension of the rental agreement. Until at least the end of 2026, the organisations will continue to be located in the same building at the Groningenhaven address in Nieuwegein. This step also means that they will continue their strategic alliance. The building is an ideal meeting place for the regular collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation in which the three organisations engage.

The extension of rental agreement and the alliance was confirmed during a festive meeting attended by the respective management teams. The three directors explained the decision as follows.

Gabriëlle Knufman (Water Education): “As Wateropleidingen, we look forward to the continuation and ongoing expansion of the strategic alliance with our partners KWR and AquaMinerals. Working in the same building means that lines of communication are short, making it easy for us to get in touch with each other and strengthen each other’s work so that we can serve the water sector even better.”

Olaf van der Kolk (AquaMinerals): “I am happy that we will be staying in this building for the next three years. Not only is it a pleasant and beautiful building, working in the same location with KWR and Wateropleidingen also delivers considerable added value for AquaMinerals. Our networks, knowledge and collaboration make each other stronger in terms of achieving our goals.”

Dragan Savic (KWR): “I am very happy about the collaboration with AquaMinerals and Wateropleidingen as it allows us to combine the unique strengths and expertise of the companies, with more success and innovation in the circular economy for the water sector as a result.”
