Ilse Diepeveen

Ilse Diepeveen is a junior ecology researcher within the Ecohydrology team. She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology from Utrecht University and her Master’s in Forest and Nature Conservation from Wageningen University and Research. After her studies, Ilse worked for two years at Stichting Bargerveen as a junior landscape ecology researcher. She conducted extensive fieldwork there in wet sandy landscapes, stream valleys, raised bogs, and wet forests. This experience has given her in-depth knowledge about the interactions between water management, soil formation, and vegetation development. At KWR, she focuses on projects that investigate nature conservation and quality.
