Amitosh Dash PhD

Amitosh Dash is a researcher in the Water Infrastructure team. He is utilizing in-house modeling tools to predict water quality in distribution networks. His research shall assist water companies in ensuring that the end user receives water adhering to the increasingly strict quality norms. Prior to joining KWR, Amitosh was active in the field of experimental fluid mechanics at the Delft University of Technology, both as a student and as a doctoral candidate. During the lockdown triggered by the pandemic, Amitosh had his first experience with the water sector in a collaboration with Deltares. Using ultrasound imaging, a tool of experimental fluid mechanics, he diagnosed the flow of concentrated wastewater mimicking slurry in an industrial scale pipeline.
