KWR places the Circular City centre-stage at the Aqua Trade Fair Netherlands

On 15, 16 and 17 March 2016 be sure to visit the main source of inspiration for all of the water sector : Aqua Trade Fair Netherlands in Gorinchem. The latest innovations and products in the fields of water treatment, management and technology are featured in this 10th edition. It’s the trade fair that you, as a water professional, cannot miss! This year’s theme at the KWR stand (number 139) is the ‘Circular City’. Make note of the date and our stand’s number: you will be warmly welcome.

Circular City

The world is urbanising at a rapid pace. As a consequence many of the future transition processes will take place within urban settings. In the ‘Circular City’ water is a connecting factor: drinking water, sewer systems, wastewater, energy, transport, nature and people. The challenge of achieving liveable and attractive cities is, to an important degree, related to how well we handle our water. Through knowledge from its research, KWR contributes actively to the ‘water-wise city’. Take for instance the reuse of resources from wastewater, adaptation to climate change, energy extraction from drinking water and wastewater, new sewer system concepts, subsurface water (energy) storage, and the role of water in the hydrogen economy. Six such collaboration projects are placed centre-stage at our stand (139). You, too, can make a contribution to the circular city. How? You’ll find out onsite.
