Sotirios Paraskevopoulos MSc

Sotirios Paraskevopoulos is a scientific researcher in the Water Quality and Health team. He completed his Master’s studies in Water Science and Management at Utrecht University. He conducted his MSc thesis as part of an internship at KWR on the Horizon 2020 AquaNES project. He developed a model that can predict the log reduction of pathogenic microorganisms by constructed wetlands as a basis for QMRA of water reuse applications. Sotiris has a diverse background as he holds a second MSc in Spatial Analysis and Environmental Protection. At KWR he works on projects related to water quality and risk assessment where his multidisciplinary perspective and knowledge contribute to an integrated approach and new insights.
