Jasper Immink

Jasper Immink is researcher in the Water Treatment and Resource Recovery-team, and he specializes in physical chemistry, modelling, and data science. He often works on projects where he interprets the physics and chemistry, captures those phenomena in a computer model, and uses that model to predict the outcomes of treatment processes. He also develops data-driven and machine-learning models for outcome prediction. Apart from that, Jasper performs calculations and statistical analyses.
Jasper has a background in physical chemistry, finishing his promotion in 2019 in Lund, Sweden. Hereafter he worked several years in Düsseldorf, Germany as a researcher and research coordinator, before starting at KWR in 2022. Jasper has a lot of experience in combining practical and experimental research with theoretical modeling and data science.
