Adsorption, oxidation, reduction, membrane filtration and combined techniques for water treatment

Aachen Conference on Water Technology

Event details

The Aachen Conference on Water Technology will focus on new developments in water treatment – both for drinking water and wastewater. This covers new insights and knowledge produced by science, research and technology. With regard to processes, the limelight will be on adsorption, oxidation, membrane filtration and combined techniques. The conference is being organised by ISA (Institut für Siedlungswasserwirtschaft der RWTH Aachen) and AVT (Aachener Verfahrenstechnik). Although the programme committee is made up mostly of Germans, it also includes scientists from Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium and England. Approximately 300 participants will attend the conference, which is held every year. On behalf of KWR Roberta Hofman-Caris will give a presentation about advanced reduction for the removal of recalcitrant organic micropollutants with van UV/SO3.
