The goal is to inspire, communicate and find integrated solutions. The biennial event revolves around the theme: <em>Water in Transition &#8211; Accelerate the action! <\/em>KWR will, of course, be there. This year, KWR will be celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the collective drinking water research programme BTO\/WiCE with the drinking water utilities. KWR researchers are strongly represented on the AIWW 2023 programme.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the first day (6 November), Nicolien van Aalderen and Andrew Segrave will lead the round-table session <em>Fostering Intergenerational Dialogue in Water Management for Tomorrow&#8217;s Challenges.<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/ilf\/\">Click here to register.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>KWR Director Dragan Savic will give a Keynote <em>Deep<\/em> <em>uncertainties in urban drinking water infrastructure <\/em>on 7 November from 8.30-9.15. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/\">Click here to register.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Big questions about small particles will be addressed in Stefan Kools\u2019 workshop: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/assets\/files\/60579-micro-and-nanoplastics-small-particles-in-water-trigger-big-questions.pdf\">Micro- and\u202fnanoplastics: small particles in water trigger big\u202fquestions<\/a> (7 November, 11.30-13.00, Dome 2).<\/li>\n<li>Circular solutions in the water cycle of the WiCE (Water in the Circular Economy) research programme by Henk-Jan van Alphen and Hilde Passier: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/assets\/files\/60422-implementing-circular-solutions-in-the-water-cycle-impact-opportunities-and-barriers.pdf\">Implementing circular solutions in the water cycle \u2013 impact,\u202fopportunities and barriers<\/a> (8 November, 15.00-16.30, Room D4).<\/li>\n<li>Hilde Passier and Inge van Driezum will show visitors natural solutions to improve water quality: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/assets\/files\/60467-nature-based-solutions-improving-water-quality.pdf\">Nature-based solutions improving water quality, for healthy and\u202fresilient water systems for people and nature<\/a> (8 November, 13.00-14.30, Room\u00a03).<\/li>\n<li>Niels Hartog will take a more in-depth look at groundwater management and drinking water in coastal regions: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/assets\/files\/60736-regional-strategies-and-advanced-groundwater.pdf\">Regional strategies and advanced groundwater management to\u202fsustain freshwater supply in coastal regions\u202funder stress of salinization<\/a> (8 November, 15.00-16.30, Room D3).<\/li>\n<li>There will also be a KWR presentation on predictions for drinking water: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/assets\/files\/60736-regional-strategies-and-advanced-groundwater.pdf\">Prediction of organic micropollutant removal in drinking water\u202ftreatment processes<\/a> by Bas Wols (7 November, 14.00-15.30, Arena).<\/li>\n<li>Nienke Koeman will discuss the topic of milk, farmers and water: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/assets\/files\/60538-milk-farmer-water-water-reuse-from-dairy-producer-to-farmer.pdf\">Resource recovery \u2013 Milk, farmer, water: water reuse from\u202fdairy producer to farmer<\/a> (8 November, 10:30-12:00, Dome 1) and also present the poster <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/assets\/files\/60524-circular-chemical.pdf\">Circular chemical use:\u202fproducing\u202facid\u202fand\u202fbase\u202fwith\u202f(bipolar)\u202felectrodialysis\u202f\u200bfrom\u202fIEX\u202fregenerate<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you would like to attend one of these workshops or presentations, please click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiww2023.com\/\">here<\/a> to register.
