SPECTORS stimulates and strengthens innovations by SMEs through cooperative research and development projects, as well as long-term, cross-border competence networks, relations and synergies of companies, research organisations and development centres. This cross-border bundling of competences creates an effective value-added for the growing civilian drone and specialist-sensor market in the border regions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>KWR RPAS Service<\/h2>\n<p>Since the start of 2017, KWR\u2019s RPAS Service team has been in place to contribute to a variety of research projects. RPAS stands for Remotely Piloted Aircraft System, popularly known as a \u2018drone\u2019. KWR intends to use its new RPAS Service to apply advanced methods to process drone-produced images into serviceable information for the water companies.
