By signing, the parties express their intentions and ambitions to stimulate the use and production of green hydrogen for mobility in the province of Utrecht.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Drive through signing<\/h2>\n<p>On Wednesday 21 April, the Province of Utrecht, KWR Water Research Institute and the Energy Collective Utrecht (ECUB) organised a drive-through signing for a limited group (because of the corona measures) of entrepreneurs:\u00a0 by driving all kinds of vehicles (cars, trucks, buses, bicycles, etc.), they demonstrated how they aim to contribute to the objectives of the hydrogen covenant.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kwrwater.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/waterstof-convenant-drive-trough.png\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Online meeting for the official signing<\/h2>\n<p>On Friday 23 April, the Province of Utrecht, KWR Water Research Institute and the Energy Collective\u00a0 Utrecht (ECUB) organised an online meeting to mark the official signing of the covenant. Ed Nijpels, Bart Biebuyck, Ad van Wijk, J\u00f6rg Gigler and delegate Arne Schaddelee expressed their views on the potential and challenges of hydrogen as an energy source.
