With all the facts and figures, an overview of the key news items of 2015 \u2013 including a video of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kwrwater.nl\/en\/actueel\/jaaroverzicht-2015-en\/minister-schulz-van-haegen-opens-new-kwr-building\/\">opening of our new building<\/a> \u2013 and, naturally, of all the experts involved. You will read for instance that in the summer of 2015 we had our hands full researching the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kwrwater.nl\/en\/actueel\/jaaroverzicht-2015-en\/kwr-and-water-companies-grip-pyrazole-discharges-long-spell\/\">pyrazole discharges in the river Meuse<\/a>. That Arcadis and KWR made a start with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kwrwater.nl\/en\/actueel\/jaaroverzicht-2015-en\/arcadis-and-kwr-take-first-step-towards-allied-waters\/\">Allied Waters<\/a>. And that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kwrwater.nl\/en\/actueel\/jaaroverzicht-2015-en\/new-watershare-member-city-of-cape-town-starts-with-cfpd\/\">Watershare network<\/a> expanded steadily.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We\u2019re aware that knowledge yields the most for society when it is produced with a chain perspective: knowledge (research), skills (competences) and market (valorisation),\u2019 says KWR\u2019s CEO, Wim van Vierssen. \u2018Knowledge as the fulcrum between problem and solution, between public and private, and between science and citizen. By accepting responsibility for a more sustainable watercycle, we also do so for a more sustainable society. As a public knowledge institute we feel bound to this social contract.
