Developing, maintaining and sharing knowledge are necessary to Cranfield and KWR. Education and training of staff, ample attention for knowledge sharing, and cooperation with other knowledge institutes all contribute to these aims.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Cranfield Water Science Institute and KWR aspire to intensify ongoing collaboration in the field of resilient urban water management through appointing a guest researcher \/ visiting fellow position at KWR and Cranfield respectively. KWR and Cranfield Water Science Institute have had a long working relationship. We are currently partners on ongoing, and newly proposed, EU H2020 projects, and work together in the past has resulted in jointly authored research outputs. This collaboration agreement follows on from Prof Paul Jeffrey&#8217;s position as a Visiting Professor at KWR in the period 2016-2018, and continues the linkages developed there.<\/p>\n<p>Heather Smith is a lecturer at Cranfield Water Science Institute. Her research focuses on the governance of the water sector, and the intersections between technological innovation, policy, and social drivers around water services. Jos Frijns is manager of the Resilience Management and Governance team of KWR. He is a senior researcher on water governance, knowledge strategies, futures studies, water-energy nexus, and water in the circular economy.\u00a0Smith and\u00a0Frijns have been working together on water governance research for a number of years and this makes them an excellent fit for further collaboration between Cranfield Water Science Institute and KWR.
