Our client group includes water companies, waterboards, governments, industry and SMEs. KWR thus covers the entire water cycle, both nationally and internationally. Our knowledge institute has a staff of about 170. Our researchers work together in teams, divided into two research groups: Water and Sustainability & Transitions. The Finance, Communication, IT, Facilities and Human Resources staff services provide support to the research groups. Staff participation and co-determination is effected through the Works Council.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

KWR is owned by the shareholders\u2019 organisation<\/a> KWH Water B.V.<\/a> Daily management is in the hands of the Executive Board and the management team<\/a>, which consist the managers of the two Research Groups and Corporate Services.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Supervisory Board<\/h2>\n

The Supervisory Board oversees the course of activities within KWR in the name of the shareholders, with an eye to the general interest of society, which our knowledge institute stands for. The Board consists of four members who, on the basis of their own backgrounds and thanks to their valuable networks, provide both supervision and the special input that mark our course.<\/p>\n

Honorary Fellowship<\/h2>\n

Through our Honorary Fellowship we express our appreciation of individuals who distinguish themselves in their dedication to joint water cycle-related research. Honorary Fellows constitute our professional reference; their importance lies in their commitment, energy and support. Among other things, the honorary title underlines our awareness that serving the public good in the field of Dutch and international water management requires special knowledge, expertise and experience that only in exceptional cases are to be found in a single person.<\/p>\n
