Management assistant

We are looking for a management assistant for the executive secretariat.

The function

As management assistant your duties are multifaceted:

  • scheduling all possible appointments, including their logistical organization;
  • managing the agendas and mailbox of MT members;
  • the first point of contact for the team leaders of one of our knowledge groups;
  • preparing onboarding schedules for new colleagues in coordination with the team leaders;
  • planning meetings and meeting documents;
  • handling mail and all ancillary matters;
  • translating relevant documents.

We are looking for

KWR is looking for a management assistant with extensive experience in management support, who is quick to master new tasks. You have good social skills and a strong character. You know how to set the right priorities and thrive in a dynamic work environment. Furthermore, you are enterprising, with integrity, flexible, customer-oriented, meticulous, organizationally strong, stress-resistant, proactive and an excellent collaborator. You take pleasure in (basic)work such as filing, planning, taking minutes and agenda management and do this with the greatest care, and you enjoy being responsible for your own work package.

Your profile

  • MBO/HBO working and thinking level;
  • relevant training (e.g. secretary or management assistant);
  • proactive work attitude;
  • at least 3 years of work experience in a similar position;
  • proficiency with the MS Office package (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint);
  • Good command of Dutch and English (both spoken and written).

The team

The executive secretariat is a small, close-knit team of five colleagues that provides adequate support to the Executive Board, the Management Team (MT), the Supervisory Board, the Science Council (internal) and the External Scientific Advisory Council (ESAC). The executive secretariat is managed by the executive secretary and also consists of a policy assistant, an executive secretariat secretary and two management assistants. The colleagues in the team each have their own set of tasks, but work closely together in these tasks.
