Steven Ros is a geohydrologist. He specialises in modelling density-dependent groundwater flows (and fresh-salt water in particular) and in programming and running data analyses in Python. In addition, he fulfils an active role in monitoring pilots within the EU projects DESSIN and Horizon 2020 SUBSOL. DESSIN’s goal is solving water problems through the sustainable use of the ecosystem. Horizon 2020 is a programme put together by the European Commission to promote European research and innovation. The SUBSOL project focuses on marketing innovative well designs and configurations to protect, increase and make freshwater springs in coastal areas optimally manageable.
