Martin de Haan has over 15 years of experience as an ecology researcher. Martin specialises in quantitative links between groundwater, soil composition and vegetation type diversity. He contributed to various research projects for water companies, nature conservancies and the government. His expertise is mainly on the coherence between various influential environmental factors for plant growth and the translation of those to nature quality. This includes monitoring the effects of reorganisation and maintenance of recovered wetlands, determining the ecological effects of water collection and anti-dehydration measures, providing structuring and maintenance advice for nature and water collection grounds and an effect analysis by means of ecological modelling with NICHE and PROBE.
