Daphne Wiggers de Vries

Daphne Wiggers de Vries works as a scientific researcher and project manager in the Geohydrology team. Her expertise is in mapping underground potential. In recent years, as a geologist, she immersed herself in a wide range of projects both in the Netherlands and abroad; during her PhD in isotope research and then during her work in the oil, gas and geothermal sectors in seismic interpretation, well planning, data acquisition, setting up subsurface models and performing uncertainty studies/risk analyses. Currently, Daphne is involved in practice-based solutions for underground water and heat storage and the use of ground energy; she also initiates and coordinates several research projects.
