Water Quality and Health
The Water Quality & Health knowledge group is dedicated to the question of the quality of the water-chain, from source to drinking water. Through national and international collaborations, we develop strategies and methods to guarantee drinking water quality into the future. The knowledge group conducts research into pathogens and chemical pollution in water and related matrices. This involves the scientific fields of analytical chemistry, microbiology, toxicology, molecular methods and sensor technology. Our work combines experimental research in the laboratory and in the field with model research.
The knowledge group consists of the Microbiological Water Quality and Health team, the Chemical Water Quality and Health team, as well as the materials research and chemical analysis laboratory, and the microbiology laboratory.
